Brad Stewart (Owner/President) started Chipmunk Hardwoods in 1994 because it was very hard to find quality hardwoods in Florida. In 1997 we started to retail lumber because we were overwhelmed with requests from woodworkers in Florida who couldn't find a supplier. Now we stock 50,000 bf in 65 species. We also specialize in the manufacturing of hardwood stairs, hardwood flooring, stair parts, such as risers, starter steps, 5 1/2 standard landing treads and 3 1/2 nosing for looring.
